Weather grounds Delaware football team in Iowa

December 4, 2007 By admin

After a big win over UNI the Delaware football team spent a couple of extra days in the state, but not by design. The ice, sleet and snow closed airports and kept the Blue Hens from leaving.

De-icing problems also kept them in town for an extra night and forced the NCAA to move their next game from Friday to Saturday.
