A north-central Iowa man is charged in the killing of his brother. Last night, law enforcement officers with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department arrested 25-year-old Michael Anthony Lindseth. He is facing charges of murder and burglary in the suspicious death of his brother, 24-year-old Douglas John Lindseth.
On Monday night, a 9-1-1 call was received from Story County which lead Hamilton County Sheriff’s deputies to the home of Douglas Lindseth near Ellsworth. They found him dead inside the home.
At the time investigators said the death was suspicious in nature. Authorities continue with this investigation. An autopsy is scheduled for later today at the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny.
