The Iowa State women outscored Creighton 15-4 over the final six and a half minutes of the game to rally for a 60-52 victory in Hilton Coliseum. Freshman Kelsey Bolte had 15 points and ten rebounds as the Cyclones roared back from a ten point deficit with just over nine minutes to play.

ISU coach Bill Fennelly says the Cyclones were not ready to play. Fennelly says they didn’t do the things the team needs to do to play at high level. But, he says the fans pulled them through and hopefully they learned from the experience. Iowa State hosts UNI on Tuesday night. Fennelly says the Cyclones have not been practicing well and it showed.

He says he’s been concerned about the way they’ve been practicing for a long time, and Fennelly says it’s something he has to change to make them better. Fennelly says they got a win and are happy with it, but need to play better. The Cyclones are 7-1.
