Biden stresses "change" message, too

December 19, 2007 By O. Kay Henderson

The three leading Democratic presidential candidates have been emphasizing their particular brand of change as they scurry around the state, hoping to sway Iowans into their corner on Caucus night. Delaware Senator Joe Biden, another Democratic presidential hopeful, is offering Iowans a "change" message, too.

"Change is related to action. You’ve got to have enough confidence, experience and you gotta know what you’re doing and so folks I am ready, with your help, to begin to change this country and to change the world in a way I respectfully suggest I don’t think any of the other candidates have the experience or have taken the action to demonstrate that they can," Biden told an audience this morning in Council Bluffs.

Biden has been a member of the U.S. Senate for 35 years.
