UNI women go on the road

December 21, 2007 By admin

The UNI women are on the road, tonight, at Northern Illinois. The Panthers are 4-5 after a lopsided loss at Iowa State. UNI coach Tanya Warren says Northern is extremely athletic and her team will have to pay attention to what they’re trying to get done on both ends of the floor.

She says the Panthers have had trouble at the start of games and now is the time to fix it. Warren says they have nothing else to focus on right now but basketball. She says sometimes they wait until they get on the floor to start preparing for a game, but she says it has to start way before the first whistle.

Northern Illinois is 3-7 on the season.
