New Drake football coach seeks a balanced attack

December 26, 2007 By admin

New Drake football coach Chris Creighton says he wants the Bulldog offense to feature a balanced attack. Creighton was introduced last weekend as the 25th Drake coach after a successful seven year run at Wabash College in Indiana. Crieghton says they will be a multiple formation offense that gives a lot of different looks with the same people.

Creighton says they will try to run very few running plays, but run them well, and try to exploit weaknesses in the defense. Creighton says he likes offenses that can attack a defense in a number of different ways. He says Drake football offensively will be equally proficient on the ground and in the air, as he says to win championships you have to do both well.
