Former Hawkeye trying to help Vikings make playoffs

December 27, 2007 By admin

Former Iowa standout Chad Greenway is hoping his Minnesota Vikings can win in Denver and get some help. The Vikings need both if they want to make the NFL playoffs. After a 32-21 loss at home to Washington the Vikings need a win and a Dallas victory over the Redskins to secure a spot.

Greenway says they can’t let it get to them, as they have to prepare to win in a tough environment. Greenway is third on the team in tackles and says the Vikings can’t afford to do any scoreboard watching. He says they can only control what they need to do.
