Authorities in southwest Iowa are on the lookout for a man who escaped from the Montgomery County Jail — and his female accomplice. According to the sheriff’s department, 24-year-old Jessica Johnson used a sawed-off shotgun to break 33-year-old Stuart Sellers out of jail at around 12:45 this morning.
Sellers is described as being a white male, 175-pounds, 5-feet 8-inches tall, with short brown hair, blue eyes and wearing glasses. He was last seen wearing a white tee-shirt, no shoes and orange jail pants. Johnson is 5-feet 3-inches tall, 125-pounds, with blonde hair and green eyes. Both subjects left the jail in an unknown direction.
It’s also unclear whether they escaped by vehicle or on foot. Both are considered to be armed and dangerous. If you see them, call the Montgomery County Crimestoppers at 1-800-432-1001.
