A Clear Lake woman is dead after a fire in her mobile home last night. The Clear Lake Fire Department arrived on the scene shortly after six o’clock last night and found flames engulfing the living room area of the mobile home.
Firefighters knocked the fire down and found Keely Boss, who was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City where she later was pronounced dead. Firefighters say her husband, Dale Boss, was at work at the time of the fire. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The state fire marshal’s office is assisting Clear Lake authorities in their investigation into the cause of the fire.
