Two Iowans could be part of "American Idol"

January 29, 2008 By admin

Some Iowans may have a role in season seven of one of the top-rated shows in television. "American Idol" may feature some Iowans in tonight’s episode. The show held auditions last summer in Omaha and those who made the cut there reportedly will be on tonight’s show.

Speculation suggests at least two Iowans may have gotten one of the so-called "golden tickets" to go to Hollywood. Neither 17-year-old Katie Admire of Sergeant Bluff or 21-year-old Jason Rich of Dike can say whether they made the cut, though, because of the show’s confidentiality agreement.

The show airs at seven o’clock tonight on FOX.
