UNI football coach named interim athletic director

February 1, 2008 By admin

UNI football coach Mark Farley has been named the school’s interim athletic director and has also been given a raise. Farley takes over for Rick Hartzel who resigned the A-D position, and he will not be a candidate to take the job on a permanent basis.

Farley was given a raise from $159,000 to $220,000 and a five-year contract extension through 2015. Farley led the Panthers to a 12-1 record this season, including six weeks with a number one ranking.
