A northwest Iowa man died in a weekend crash. A Cherokee man was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday night, west of Aurelia. The Iowa State Patrol identified the victim as 37-year-old Ronald Dwaine Schumann.
Schumann was driving west on Cherokee County Road C-43 when he lost control of his sport utility vehicle, he overcorrected and it rolled causing fatal injuries. The Patrol reports alcohol was a factor in the accident.
