February 8, 2008 By admin

A fire this morning near Ogden has done major damage to a corporate farming operation. Ogden Fire Chief Dan Wilson says the fire at “Highway Farms” in the southern part of Boone County was reported at about 5:30 this morning by some people driving by on Highway 169.

The facility’s owned by Rex and Roger Christianson and is a feed mixing operation for livestock. The fire chief says the blaze was probably electrical in nature, but the exact cause has not been determined. No injuries were reported.
