William Penn will try to lock up the Midwest Collegiate Conference title with a victory at Clarke College. The Crusaders also have plenty to play for. At 9-4, they are alone in second place and still have a chance to earn a share of the title in their first year in the league. Coach Jon Davison’s team was picked to finish last in the pre-season poll.

Davison says the coaches were caught off guard and didn’t know a lot about them, other than their record last year. Even with a victory, Clarke would still need a lot of help to grab a share of the title. Davison says you always like to be in a position where you have a chance to win the title.
