Another sluggish opening half cost the Iowa Hawkeye women in another loss to Ohio State. The Hawks fell behind by 14 points at the break in a 69-56 loss to the 20th ranked Buckeyes that knocked the Hawkeyes out of first place in the Big Ten race. The Hawks fall to second in the league race with a record of 11-5.

Also in womens’ action from last night the Drake Bulldogs pulled away in the second half in a 77-63 win at Bradley. The Bulldogs still share third place in the Missouri Valley conference standings with Creighton after the Blue Jays won at UNI 69-51. The Panthers fall to 6-8 in the Missouri Valley.
