Cyclone coach says they’re making progress

March 10, 2008 By admin

Iowa State finished the regular season at 14-17 and 4-12 in the Big Twelve conference, but coach Greg McDermott says they are making progress in rebuilding. McDermott says the coaches see it on the film, they are making strides, especially some of the young players.

McDermott says it’s tough to be making progress, but not see that show through in wins. McDermott says that can be frustrating when you’re young, but as long as things are moving forward, the team has to take as many positives as they can. Iowa State opens the Big 12 Tournament Thursday at 8:30 against Texas A&M.
