Clinton man sentenced on child porn charges

A Clinton man will serve at least 18 years in prison on child porn charges. The United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa says 51-year-old John William Gool Junior pled guilty in April of last year to receiving and possessing child pornography in July and June of 2006.

Gool was sentenced to 18 years in prison for recieving the pornography and 10 years for possession child pornography. The judge ordered Gool to serve the two sentences together. Gool was also ordered to turn over his computer equipment and illegal images.
