A Kingsley man died in a pickup truck accident near that northwest Iowa town on Monday. According to Plymouth County Sheriff Mike Van Otterloo, the victim is 29-year-old Aaron Ronald Foster. An investigation indicates Foster’s pickup truck was being driven north on Highway 140, near the intersection of Quartz Avenue.
Authorities say for unknown reasons, Foster lost control and the pickup went into the ditch and collided with a utility pole. Foster was taken to Floyd Valley Hospital and pronounced dead by the county medical examiner, Dr. Sheila Holcomb. Foster was alone in the truck when the accident happened about 12:30 P.M. The wreck is still under investigation.
