Mid-Prairie sets relay record

The Mid-Prairie boys won the class 2A distance medley relay title and set a new record in the process. Aaron Stockstell anchored the Golden Hawks to as winning time of 3:26.16. That’s the fastest time in the country this year.

Stockstel says they set a goal and had it in their mind that they were going to run fast, so they are happy with it.

Stockstell will continue his career at the University of Alabama and was asked where this record ranked on his list of accomplishments. He says this is number one in his heart and the heart of his teammates.
