Pleasant Valley senior wins 3,200 meter

May 16, 2008 By admin

After winning the state cross country title and the 3,200 meter run at the Drake Relays Devin Allbaugh added a state championship on Thursday. The Pleasant Valley senior won the class 4A 3,200 meter crown in a time of 9:20.88 seconds.

Allbaugh says winning at Drake made him want to go out and run faster at state, and he did.

Allbaugh is a senior but this won’t be his final time on the track at Drake. Next year he will go to Iowa State, so he’ll get to run at the Drake Relays.
