A motorcycle crash in central Iowa this weekend killed a man from Colfax. Authorities in Jasper County say the crash happened around 5 p.m. Sunday on Highway F-48 West.
An accident report says 41-year-old Arthur Jacobs, Jr. was driving his motorcycle too fast when he lost control around a curve and entered a ditch. Jacobs was wearing a helmet. The crash is believed to be the 12th motorcycle related fatality in Iowa this year.
