Webster City-based Vantec expands into Nebraska

May 30, 2008 By admin

Officials at Webster City-based Vantec are announcing plans to build a new plant out of state. The plant will be located in Falls City, Nebraska, located south of Omaha near Interstate 29.

Vantec is a custom injection molder, catering to many different original equipment manufacturers located across the United States and abroad.

Vantec anticipates starting operations in Falls City on or around November 1st of this year. The company will be located in a 40-thousand square foot facility, with the ability to double in size as the need arises. Plans call for the Falls City Vantec firm to employ up to 25 people at the start with employment to grow from there.

It was 25 years ago that Vantec was created by Willie and Bev Van Whye of Webster City. Vantec currently employs over 200 people.
