4A: Brittnie Kreiser, Lewis Central

The sophomore pitcher has led the Titans to their first state tournament trip since 1985. She has a 20-4 record and is also the team’s leading hitter with a .500 average and 11 home runs. Kreiser tossed a five-hit shutout in a victory over Des Moines East in a regional final.
