Two found dead in Columbus Junction

State and local investigators are releasing few details about the deaths of two people in southeast Iowa.

The Louisa County Sheriff’s office received a 911 report of a shooting at about one o’clock in the morning on Sunday in Columbus Junction. Officers who responded found two people dead. The sheriff’s office has not released the names of the dead, pending notification of their families.

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has had agents at the scene, along with local authorities.
