Indiana looks for first conference win against Iowa

October 9, 2008 By admin

Indiana will also be in search of a much needed win when the Hoosiers host the Iowa Hawkeyes this weekend. Like the Hawks, the Hoosiers are 0-2 in the conference after a loss at Minnesota.

Indiana coach Bill Lynch says they have a chance to bounce back at home. He says the Hawkeyes could easily be 6-0 on the season. Indiana’s defense has had trouble stopping the run and that unit will get another test from Iowa’s Shonn Greene.

Lynch says Greene is an outstanding back and in the Big 10 you see outstanding backs week after week. The Hoosiers have won the last two games in the series, including a 38-20 victory in Iowa City last year.
