William Penn hopes for home win against St. Ambrose

October 9, 2008 By admin

William Penn hopes to get a big win this weekend at home against St. Ambrose in Mid-States Football Association action. The Statesmen are 3-2 overall and quarterback Ryan Van Dalen leads a double slot option attack that coach Todd Hafner says is getting better each week.

Hafner says this would be a big victory for the program as St. Ambrose is a good football team, and they are going to have to play their best game of the year. St. Ambrose is also 3-2 and ranked 17th national in N-A-I-A.
