Cyclones fall flat at Baylor

October 13, 2008 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones would just as soon forget Saturday’s game at Baylor. The Bears took control at the outset and dominated the game in a 38-10 win. It allowed Baylor to snap a 13 game Big 12 Conference losing streak and the Cyclones fall to 0-2 in the league race after suffering their fourth consecutive defeat.

Iowa State coach Gene Chizik says they will come back and fight, but this was not a very good game.

The Cyclones will host a Nebraska team that is coming off an overtime loss at Texas Tech. Chizik says they have to go back to the basics on offense and defense and not shoot themselves in the foot.
