One person was killed, four hurt, when two vehicles collided Monday afternoon in southern Iowa’s Clarke County. According to the Iowa State Patrol, a 2009 Chevrolete Aveo driven by 35-year-old Amy Bush, of Waterloo, crossed the center line of southbound Interstate 35, went out of control and overturned into the median before coming to rest upside down in the northbound lanes, where it was hit by a 2001 Toyota SUV.

The Toyota, driven by 45-year-old Laura Stumbo, of Olathe, Kansas, came to rest in the median following the crash. A passenger in the car, 40-year-old Terrance Bush, of Waterloo was injured in the crash and taken by helicopter to a hospital in Des Moines, where he later died. Two other passengers in the car, 14-year-old Tanisha and 12-year-old Ahyahna Bush, along with both drivers, were also injured during the crash, that happened just before three PM Monday, southwest of New Virginia.
