The Iowa State Cyclones return to Big-12 action at home on Wednesday night against Nebraska. The Cyclones are 11-5 overall and opened the conference race with a loss at Texas. The Huskers are 11-3 and opened the Big-12 with an overtime victory against Missouri.

ISU coach Greg McDermott says Nebraska plays with great tenacity on defense and are forcing a bunch of turnovers that turn into easy points. He says the Cyclones will need to be sound at both ends of the floor, including taking care of the ball on the offensive end, and outlasting them on defense.

McDermott says they try to make you guard for the full shot clock before they take a shot, and he says the teams that outlast them have been successful.

Nebraska coach Doc Sadler says the Huskers must find a way to guard Cyclone big man Craig Brackins without giving up wide open perimeter shots. Sadley says Brackins is capable of getting 40 points if you don’t take care of him and that can get you beat.
