Iowa State has time off to get ready for Kansas

January 19, 2009 By admin

The Iowa State Cyclones will have some added practice time to bounce back from a loss to Missouri. The Cyclones return to action on Saturdaty by hosting Kansas and stand 1-2 in the Big-12 race after a 77-46 loss at Missouri.

Iowa State coach Greg McDermott says they’ll work on the development of the team in the next couple of days and then turn the focus to Kanasas on Wednesday. McDermott says the Cyclones need to become more productive on the offensive end.

He says they need some quality time to build some things offensively as they know it has been a problem throughout the year and they have to keep working on it.
