The Iowa Hawkeyes snapped a three game losing skid with a 73-69 overtime win against Wisconsin in Iowa City. Iowa coach Todd Lickliter says it’s a "neat group of guys" who play hard and have had their struggles. But the coach says he hopes the students go and tell their friends that this team is fun.
Lickliter says he was proud of the way his team fought back after losing three straight games. He says he told them after the last game that they have to play every game as a single possession game and can’t take plays off, or hurry up and get the game over so they win.
Lickliter says they are doing a better job of that, but could have had a really deflating ending to this game as Wisconsin hit a deep three to take the game to overtime. Iowa visits Penn State this weekend.
