ISU falls to Kansas State

February 4, 2009 By admin

Cold shooting plagued the Iowa State Cyclones in a 65-50 loss at Kansas State in the Big-12. The Cyclones hit just 32-percent for the game and finished 5-of-21 from three point range.

ISU coach Greg McDermott says they scored 4 points in the last 10 minutes of the first half, and 5 points in the last 7 minutes of the second half. McDermott says their offense has to be more efficient, or it’s going to be tough to win.

The Cyclones fall to 1-6 in the Big-12. 12-10 overall.
