Cyclone coach says team not quitting in tough stretch

February 10, 2009 By admin

Iowa State coach Greg McDermott says there is no quit in the Cyclones. ISU has dropped six straight games and will try to end that streak on Wednesday night at home against Colorado.

McDermott says his team is holding up remarkably well as their belief in themselves and the team has not wavered.

McDermott says despite a 1-7 Big-12 mark the Cyclones remain focused on getting things turned around. He says that’s a sign of a team that has a chance somewhere down the road, and he says it’s the job of the coaches to keep them moving forward and improving.

Iowa State is 12-11 overall.
