Two die in Hamilton County accident

March 9, 2009 By admin

Two people are dead and three injured as the result of a two vehicle accident shortly before noon Sunday two miles north of Blairsburg in Hamilton County on Highway 69. The Iowa State Patrol said the names of the victims will be released sometime this afternoon.

It was reported that the driver of a southbound 2002 Chevrolet Venture van lost control of the vehicle due to the weather conditions and went into the path of a northbound 2002 Mercury Mountaineer. The two vehicles then collided with one another.
