This month’s Iowa Corn Indy 250 is nearing a sellout. Craig Armstrong from the Iowa Speedway says only about 700 seats remain in the temporary grandstand that will bring capacity for the event to 30,000. He says they are the same size seats as in the regular grandstand and have a good view.

Armstrong says in total there are fewer than 1,000 tickets still available. He says the best deal in his opinion are the 300 Newton club seats that are available for $85. Those seats give access to the Newton Club, the patio and a premium seat right behind the start finish lines.

This is the third year the Indy car series has returned to the speedway. Armstrong says it will be the biggest crowd for an Indy car race and he says that races the enthusiasm for the NASCAR Nationwide race August 1st where they expect 40,000.

The Iowa Corn Indy 250 is June 21st.
