June 11, 2009 By admin

A western Iowa man was arrested this week on bootlegging charges. Fourty-nine-year-old Douglas Dale Jensen of Kimballton was taken into custody at around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The Audubon County Sheriff’s Office says Jensen faces two counts of bootlegging. Jensen, the owner of Arnold’s Tavern, is accused of continuing to serve alcohol at his establishment in Kimballton and on a patio lot after his liquor license was suspended by the State of Iowa on June 8.

Jensen was booked into the Audubon County Jail where he was held until he posting a security bond.
