Some of the top high school wrestlers from the state will gather in Charles City on Saturday night for the North-South All Star meet. It is the 31st year for the event according to Charles City coach Dave Williams. Williams says it started in the summer and then they moved it to the spring, and now they have moved it back to summer to try and make it easier for everyone to get to.

Williams says the All Star meet will feature matchups that did not take place during the season. He says they start with the state champs and invite them all and try to line them up from each class to go against each other. Williams says they can sometimes come up with a true champion when wrestlers of different classes meet.

Williams says the doors of the Charles City gymnasium open at five. The event begins tomorrow night at six o’clock.
