August 24, 2009 By admin

A central Iowa trucking firm was hit by a weekend fire. Webster City firemen were on the scene yesterday morning at a building fire at 612 Fair Avenue with the structure owned by Paul and Mark Pruismann of Webster City. The call was received shortly before 5:30.

When firemen arrived there were flames coming out of the east wall with heavy smoke being reported. Firemen battled the blaze for over three hours. There were no injuries reported.

The building housed five semi tractor trailers which were all destroyed. They were owned by Pruismann Trucking of Webster City. Webster City fire chief Mike Lund said the cause of yesterday’s fire was undetermined.
