ISU begins the Paul Rhoads era tonight

September 3, 2009 By admin

A new era begins at Iowa State tomorrow night when the Cyclones open the season against North Dakota State. It will be the debut of new ISU coach Paul Rhoads who cautions those who believe this will be an easy win for the Cyclones.

Rhoads says they need to look at the history books and all the Division one opponents the Bison toppled in reason years and didn’t think they were upsets.

Craig Bohl enters his seventh season as the coach at North Dakota State and says with a new staff at Iowa State the Bison are not sure what to expect. Bohl says the way ISU deploys its players is a little bit of a "subjective guess" with a new coaching staff.
