Details released on fatal NE Iowa accident

Authorities are now releasing the details of a fatal workplace accident in northeast Iowa. The accident Monday accident in Ossian took the life of a Fayette man. The Calmar/Ossian Police Department says 60-year-old Patrick O’Shaughnessy was killed Monday morning at Reilly Construction when a piece of equipment he was working on fell on top of him.

O’Shaugnessy was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened shortly after eight a.m. Monday morning.
