Nebraska QB against ISU not known

October 21, 2009 By Todd Kimm

Nebraska coach Bo Pelini will hold off on naming a starting quarterback for Saturday’s matchup with Iowa State. The Husker offense continued to struggle in a 31-10 home loss to Texas Tech. He says it will be a gametime decision.

For now Zac Lee remains the starter but freshman Cody Green was inserted into the game in the second half. Pelini says Green did some good things, but did not grade out exceptionally well as he made some mistakes. He says Green is a young player and is still figuring things out.

Pelini says now is not the time to make wholesale changes,as he says you can’t panic and he has been around long enough to know how to “address the situation.”
