Body found in Texas linked to Iowa

November 16, 2009 By Matt Kelley

Authorities in Texas are investigating the death of a person who may’ve been from Iowa. A group of kids playing in a wooded area near San Antonio found a skeleton over the weekend. Police say the remains included bones and some clothing, along with two I-Ds, an Iowa driver’s license and a military I.D.

The Bexar County medical examiner says the body has been tentatively identified but as yet, no name is being released and it’s still unclear how the person may’ve died.
