Storm Lake police make prostitution arrest

November 16, 2009 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Storm Lake police have charged three people with prostitution. According to the department, a sexual assault was alleged at a local residence. When police investigated, they couldn’t determine if an assault had occurred. Instead, they learned of an alleged prostitution business operating out of the residence. Police charged 44-year-old Sally Gist of Storm Lake, and 45-year-old George Owen and 37-year-old Carl Tillman of Lakeside, with prostitution.
