Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads says the attention in practice has now turned to Minnesota. The Cyclones will meet the Gophers in the Insight Bowl on New Years Eve in Tempe, Arizona. Rhoads says they started focusing more on Minnesota to familiarize the team with what they do. He says when the get to Arizona on the 26th they will run to knock the rust off, and then will get into the normal game week preparation.

The Cyclones need to find a replacemebt for senior cornerback Kennard Banks was has been suspended for the game. Rhoads says they have three players who will get time rotating in at the position. The Cyclones have one more practice, today, before the players leave for Christmas.

Rhoads says the players will go home for the break and then about half the team will fly on the charter to Arizona, and the rest will meet them there.
