Iowa downs Tennessee State

January 13, 2010 By Todd Kimm

Aaron Fuller scored 24 points and grabbed ten rebounds as the Iowa Hawkeyes survived a slow start to edge Tennessee State 67-62 in Iowa City. Fuller says they had some lapses and started out slow, but played well at the end of both halves.

Fuller says the Hawks made the key plays down the stretch. He says the stepped up when they needed it on defense. Iowa improves to 6-11 and will host Penn State on Saturday.
