Body identified as missing Carroll woman

September 13, 2010 By Radio Iowa Contributor

The body that was found in a car in central Iowa last week has been identified as a missing Carroll woman. An autopsy done by the state medical examiner identified the body found last Thursday in the silver Chrysler Sebring as 38-year-old Staci Wilson.

The car was found in a soybean field near the Carroll airport. The autopsy found no sign of foul play. The final results of all tests are expected in two to four weeks. Wilson disappeared on September 3rd after leaving her home without any personal belongings or notifying friends or family. Funeral arrangements are pending in Carroll.
