Des Moines police issue warrant in fatal shooting

Des Moines police have issued an arrest warrant in a the fatal shooting of a man near a laundromat last night. Police say 29-year-old Martin Turks was found shot in the head in the parking lot of a coin-operated laundry about four blocks east of the Drake University campus.

 Police have issued a first-degree murder warrant for 27-year-old Lester Talshawn Richarson of Des Moines. Police are asking anyone who may know the whereabouts of Richardson to call them or you can call Crimestoppers at 515-233-1400.
