Two people died in a one-vehicle accident in northwest Iowa early Sunday. A vehicle traveling east on Highway Three, five miles east of Akron, left the roadway, rolled several times and stopped against a utility pole.

Two of the three people who were ejected died. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office identifies the men as 27-year-old Jonathon Marshall and 22-year-old Ryan Utesch, both of Le Mars. The third person, 19-year-old Courtney Brian of Le Mars, is being treated at a Sioux City hospital. Other details aren’t available yet.
