One dead in Plymouth County accident

November 2, 2010 By Radio Iowa Contributor

One person died in a traffic accident in northwest Iowa’s Plymouth County last night. Sheriff Mike Van Otterloo reports the driver lost control of the vehicle being driven south on Highway 12, near Westfield. Investigators determined the driver over corrected when the vehicle dropped off the west side of the road.

The vehicle rolled several times after entering the ditch. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died. The person’s name isn’t being released yet.
