One person dies in Dubuque County crash

November 19, 2010 By Radio Iowa Contributor

One person died in a rollover crash in northeast Iowa early this morning. The Dubuque County Sheriff’s Office and Centralia-Peosta Fire Department was called to a report of a one-vehicle accident shortly after 2 am on Old Highway Road and Sundown Road.

The driver, who was the only person in the vehicle, was found dead at the scene. Authorities say the vehicle lost control on a curve, left the road and vaulted. When it landed, it rolled over and driver was partially ejected. The victim’s name has not yet been released. The accident remains under investigation.
